WORLD OF BΕΕR FESTIVAL
The beer festival, World of Beer, is organized by the company FORUM in the Technopolis City of Athens since 2024 and is under the auspices and the support of the Hellenic Association of Brewers.
The purpose of the festival is to highlight Beer and especially to introduce consumers to the secrets of production, raw materials, malting, brewing, cooling, distribution, marketing, and beer culture.
The 1st World of Beer (May 2024) gathered the interest of almost 20,000 professionals and consumers who love beer.
The 2nd World of Beer took place on 9-11 May 2025, attracted over 21.000 visitors, presented 1,000+ Beer labels, lots of music, stand up comedies & lots of happenings.
The 3rd World of Beer is scheduled for May 8-10, 2026.
The Hellenic Association of Brewers welcomes visitors at the first kiosk to be found after entering Technopolis. At the kiosk, visitors can find out which breweries – members of the Association – participate in the festival.
They can also win gifts by trying their luck and checking out their knowledge in the beer quiz or in a beer game.
During the festival Beer lovers will have the opportunity to taste different types of beer
from big & small breweries, from Greece, Cyprus and Europe.
Visitors have the opportunity to dig into the world of brewing with talks and workshops at the «Beer Talks & Tastings”.
The festival hosts unique live performances from well known artists & music bands in the evenings.
During the festival, the Greek Beer Awards also take place, awarding the best beers from Greece, Southeastern and Eastern Europe, highlighting the innovation and quality that characterize the European beer sector.
