The Brewers of Europe
The Hellenic Association of Brewers is part of the Brewers of Europe, which was founded in 1958 and today counts 29 national brewers’ associations as members, plus Norway and Switzerland, representing over 10,000 European breweries.
Our Mission
Brewers of Europe is based in Brussels and has been the voice of the brewing industry in Europe for more than half a century, representing it in talks with European institutions and international organisations to promote beer. With a vision of working together to create a beer-friendly, smart, prosperous, sustainable, and responsible business environment within the European Union, its mission is to equip Europe’s breweries with the tools to brew and market beer freely, responsibly and at a low cost.

A knowledge portal for brewers in Europe. The BrewUp portal was created to assist European brewers and provide them with data and information to help them grow their business and improve their brewing skills.
Publication of BrewUp magazine
Bi-annual publication for all brewers and beer suppliers.
For sustainability, circular economy, recycling.
An annual event celebrating beer and hosted at the Brewers of Europe offices, bringing together stakeholders from the brewing industry and key decision-makers in the European Union.
Founded in 1995, it is a forum for the discussion and exchange of information on issues concerning the brewing industry within the European Union. The Club considers beer to be a part of European heritage and tradition and aims to support the responsible development and stability of the brewing industry in the European Union. Members of the club are elected MEPs.
Exclusive access only for Members of The Brewers of Europe: Each member gains their own access to a closed, dedicated area on its website, where access is only possible with a personal password. The “Members Area” includes the “Knowledge Centre”, a database that contains specialised content regarding technical, technological, and legislative support for the brewers’ work.
