Following the great participation of the public, the 2nd “Open Breweries” event, organized by the members of The Hellenic Association of Brewers, came to an end.
The Greek public responded to the call of the members of The Hellenic Association of Brewers and visited the breweries of his choice during the “Open Breweries 2019” event.
“Open Breweries” initiative gives the opportunity to the public to visit some of the most important Greek breweries & microbreweries in the country. The members of The Hellenic Association of Brewers opened their breweries for the public over a weekend, organizing and offering a series of interactive activities, from seminars and guided tours to beer tastings, all with free entrance.
During the weekend of 22-23 June 2019, the public participated in the events organized by the members of the Association and had the opportunity to experience an organized event regarding beer and at the same time to taste well known beers and new ones.
This initiative gives the opportunity to the Greek consumer to get to know the product of beer, the beer production procedure, the ingredients of beer and to meet the brewers in person.
The member breweries that participated in the 2019 event were (in alphabetical order): Athenian Brewery, VAP P. Kougios, Pineios Brewery, Santorini Brewing Company, Chios Brewery, Cretan Brewery, Cretan Breweries – Zidianakis, Mykonos Brewing Company, Septem Microbrewery, Siris Microbrewery, Olympic Brewery, Protipi Synergatiki Nanozithopoiia
The Hellenic Association of Brewers and its members would like to thank the beer lovers all over Greece for their warm participation and promise to renew their meeting for 2020 with even more activities.
